Ranbir-Taimur: How can we take so much gorgeousness in one frame?!

The much-loved Shashi Kapoor passed away earlier this month, but the Kapoor clan had decided to celebrate life rather than mourn his passing with the tradition he loved best – the annual Christmas lunch hosted at his Juhu residence. “My uncle (Shashi Kapoor) was a family man and always believed in celebrations,” Randhir Kapoor had explained. “In fact, he had told us that we should not mourn his death and instead, celebrate his life. I think his kids are just doing that and are paying an ode to him. Like my father, Raj Kapoor said, 'The show must go on'.”

The show did go on and it was replete with festive cheer, food and fun as the generations congregated at the late veteran actor’s Juhu residence. They trooped in cheerily, from the grand old Krishna Kapoor to her youngest grandchild, Taimur, to spend this most special day together and, as the pictures prove, had a holly, jolly time as well.

Here’s what we liked…

…The one-der boy Taimur, hands held by his gorgeous parents, Kareena and Saif, arriving at the venue, and taking a few steps till his dad scoops him in his arms. Saif tries to get the tot to wave to the photogs, while Kareena looks sensational in a denim dress paired with a fresh face.

…Ranbir Kapoor along with his cousins, Armaan and Aadar Jain, having fun with the newest addition to their boy gang, Taimur. They cuddled him royally and Ranbir was also snapped trying to getting the tot’s attention with his phone and dancing with him.
