The cold war between Bollywood beauties Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif has apparently gotten colder! The two actresses have been unable to see eye-to-eye ever since Kat reportedly stole Ranbir Kapoor way from Deepika. It’s been some time. And while Ranbir is happily single at the moment and enjoying his own space, the two actresses continue to coldly ignore one another and carry grudges from the past.
Things are said to have come to a head at a recent Bollywood awards night hosted by a big channel. Both actresses were invited and both agreed to be part of the show. But the actresses put their dainty feet down when asked by the organizer to shoot a promo for the awards function together. PeepingMoon.com sources say, “Kat and Deepika never acknowledge each other in public, so coming together for a promo is out of the question. When asked to shoot for the TV promo they both declined and Kat reportedly said if she was forced to shoot with Deepika, she would not attend the awards show, leaving the organizers in a fix.”

This is not the first time that these two ladies have given each other cold vibes. Last year at Shah Rukh Khan's Coldplay after-party for Chris Martin, the entire evening Deepika sat by the musician’s side. Now Chris Martin is Kat’s favourite. But Deepika gave her no opportunity to engage him in conversation and hogged Chris Martin exclusively. Kat, who had no interest in joining Deepika, missed meeting the Coldplay man. People wonder how they shared space at Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday party at Alibaug last month. Their managers are on their toes to ensure the paths of the two actresses don’t cross. Even at places like Yasmeen Karachiwala’s gym, where both workout.
This rivalry reached a new high when Deepika replaced Katrina as the face of the international cosmetic brand L’Oreal. While some reports suggested that Kat had been replaced due to her uncooperative and unprofessional behavior, others claim that she chose to drop out as she was set to launch her own cosmetic brand.
