Katrina Kaif had a narrow escape while shooting an action scene for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai in Morocco. The mega budget action thriller, which is already promising to be more exciting than its prequel Ek Tha Tiger of 2012, has taken Kat and Salman ‘Tiger’ Khan to different countries across the world in hot pursuit of their common mission. This incident happened in the old walled quarter of the Medina of Fez in Morocco.
While Salman did a racy action scene here on horseback, Kat had to get behind the wheel of a fast car and shoot a breathtaking chase sequence. The actress, who once again plays the gutsy Pakistani spy Zoya, explained how close she came to injuring herself to PeepingMoon.com: “This particular shot involved driving a super-fast car in the narrow bylanes that Medina is famous for. These tiny lanes make it nearly impossible to navigate. I did train for a fair bit, but during the crucial scene I ended up crashing the car into a wall.”
While Ali Abbas Zafar and the crew of Tiger Zinda Hai reacted in horror to what might have happened, Kat was reportedly cool about her providential escape and made light of the situation. She jokingly told PeepingMoon.com, “I could have been injured, but the crew was more worried about the super expensive camera mounted on my vehicle! But the good news is, I didn’t get hurt and got the shot right in the next take.” Sources from the sets say the gorgeous actress seems to have quite enjoyed tackling the risky scenes that Ali Abbas Zafar demanded of his actors for the film.
The December 22 release is turning out to be most anticipated film of 2017. The trailer of Tiger Zinda Hai that was released on November 7, became the World’s Most Liked Trailer on YouTube and surpassed the 2015 one of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Bollywood trade sources are unanimous in their opinion that Salman and Katrina have never looked so hot or in love on screen before and so deadly in their action. The countdown to the film’s release has begun. It’s just two weeks away. Santa Claus is not the only one coming to town. Tiger is too!
