With Salman Khan replacing Saif Ali Khan for the third installment of Race franchise, the film has turned out to be one of the most anticipated films of the year. After the buzz about the new starcast - Jacqueline Fernandez, Sidharth Malhotra, and Daisy Shah in the film, there is one more name included. Apparently, Salman’s favorite boy Sooraj Pancholi might be roped in for Race 3.

As per a source, Salman is keen on getting Sooraj in the Race 3 cast. However, when Peeping Moon.com spoke to Ramesh Taurani, producer of the film, he rubbished the rumors and quoted, “We haven’t approached Sooraj,” he said, adding, “All the stories of casting him are false, there is no truth to that.”

Race 3 is a completely different story the film's first two parts, from Race and Race 2 and has three leading men and two leading ladies in the latest installment. While Salman and Jacqueline are confirmed for the film, the casting for other leads is still in the process according to Taurani.

At the same time, it is also being said that Salman decided to come on board only if he acquires 70% of the profits of Race 3 as his fee, and in addition, he also asked for the full satellite rights of the movie. When asked Taurani on this development he preferred to not comment on the matter.

Salman always had his way, when it comes to his films, and for Race 3 he brought director Remo D’Souza with him, and Abbas-Mustan, who directed the first two films in the series, were dropped. From the casting and the music to the locations its all done according to the Bhai’s wish. So, if he is so interested in having Sooraj in the film, he might very well be cast.

Currently, Salman and Sooraj are busy with the Da-Bangg shows in London.

Looks like, after launching him in Hero (2015), Salman is taking an initiative to revive Sooraj's career again.
