Paris Fashion Week for this year has commenced in all its glory and we fashionistas for one cannot wait to witness the rush and excitement for this year’s Spring/Summer 22 collection. The power-packed schedules, dramatic ramp walks have got us all ecstatic about what will unfold for the next 5 days at the fashion capital!
Cosmetic brand L’Oreal Paris held its LE DÉFILÉ show for this year that celebrated self-expression and diversity. Set against the picturesque Eiffiel Tower, feminine & feminists, from all over the world came together to make one remarkable show. As the show commenced, the star-studded lineup of Helen Mirren, Katherine Langford, Amber Heard, Camila Cabello and many others took over the runway but our eyes were set out for our very own L’Oreal Paris ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan!
Dressed in an all-white outfit, Aishwarya glided on the ramp in a long-sleeved top layered with a pleated gown. Delicate studded earrings added a dash of sparkle to her outfit. On the glam front, the actress opted for a hot pink pout, with shimmery winged eyes and styled her tresses in soft curves.
However, we feel that it was quite an underwhelming look for a runway presentation. We are all game for a minimalistic look that will accentuate the makeup but this whole look was too simple and lacked the drama that Ash usually carries with such panache. The outfit, the makeup and the hair did not do justice to her stunning beauty and we feel that she deserved a much better look than this. When dealing with one of the most beautiful women in the world, we sure expect a lot more than this but hey, that’s just us. What are your opinions about this look?
