Lakme Fashion Week is back with a bang! And who better than the maestro himself, Manish Malhotra, for the opening of this exciting season?

What we witnessed last night was beyond fashion. Larger than life ensembles, the elegance of sheer beauty and a heavy sartorial dose, our Tuesday was not an average one for sure!

Chikankari, embellishments, embroidery and heavy work found their way into the collection.

Hues like gold, silver, ivory, black, green, lavender, pinks, blues and reds were seen on utterly regal fabrics like tulle velvet, cotton and silks. 

Indo-western ensembles, co-ord sets and chic drapes, fused with dazzling elements like sequin and shimmer were also seen.

All hell broke loose when the stunner herself, Katrina Kaif did the strut for the designer wearing one of his eye-popping lehengas.
