Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2019: Day 2 was all about spreading consciousness on the subject of sustainable fashion

Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2019 Day 2 showcased several designers' sustainable and dedicated collection. The second day was dedicated to the cause of conscious and ethical practices in fashion. It showcased the evolution from Handlooms Day to Sustainable Fashion Day. Day 2's showcase majorly saw khadi, handloom, handcrafted and zero waste collections throughout the day.

Circular Design Challenge presented by LFW X Relan X UN environment had Neha Dhupia and Mickey Boardman, editor of Paper Magazine as its jury. It showcased labels like Bareek, Miesu Studio, Doodlage, and Salt Petre.

Raymond and Anita Dongre with UN X IMF Reliance presented Anita Dongre's Grassroot and Antar Agnir for Raymond with the hashtag #WeavingPartnershipsForChange.

Fashion Revolution presented garden area show #fashup with Rossbelle, Doodlage, Door of Maai presenting their summer loving collections.

Bunon #JapantoIndia presented a series of white outfits full of contemporary style and woolen fashion. Classy cotton collection with white being the major colour was showcased.

Woolmark Company X Pero X Bhuttico weavers presented a fun show with skateboarding, cycles for props, dancing on stage, spray painting, peppy music, lively ambiance with the hashtag #farmtofashion. It presented shades of blue in a unique style.

Day 2 closed with a bang with Anita Dongre's Taj Lands End's show which presented a summer festive collection with understated elegance, corals, yellows, pastels and whites.
