Lakme Fashion Week W/F 2018: A look at Urvashi Joneja's collection

Lakme Fashion Week 2018 Winter/Festive edition begun with dramatic drum-rolls and jaw-dropping collections. Day-1 was all about Urvashi Joneja's 'Away' collection that draws inspiration from the imagery of flying away and breaking through the glass ceiling.

The collection revolves around graphics that are creatively composed of small fragments that come from the shattering of a surface and are tied together in the visuals of flying birds. The runway was brightened up with the hues of red, blue, yellow and purple. However, it was the layering that played the major role in every ensemble.

Rhea Chakraborty turned muse for the designer and literally took our heart away with a spectacular black gown and 3D applique detailing.
