Manish Malhotra Summer Couture 2018: Kareena-Kartik take the ramp by storm in Singapore

Manish Malhotra is known for his spectacular designs that create a magical world of its own. And every year the whole fashion world waits anxiously for the designer to unveil his magical kingdom of new trends and styles. Last night at Singapore, the designer unveiled his Summer Couture 2018 collection. This time Manish chose his favourite muse Kareena Kapoor Khan and the very dapper Kartik Aaryan. The collection was all about glitter, shimmer and all things shiny. One look and you all will fall in love with it instantly (Seriously, no bragging!). It had pretty pearls and feather detailing which is adding the feminine touch plus chiffons and tulles are just adding on to the fun.

Slaying the runway like a queen, Kareena totally owned the ramp in a beautiful cloud grey contemporary yet traditional Lehenga. We love how gracefully she showed off the plunging neckline blouse with intricate floral detailing. The designer interestingly draped the organza dupatta to complete her look without making it look too loud. Her minimal makeup, glittery eyes and simple back hairdo made her look like a true Diva.

On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan’s look was kept more royal and classic as he dons Manish Malhotra’s statement black bandh gala and the red floral threadwork which gave the outfit a refreshing pop of colour. The Menswear collection had some stunning pastel hues with delicate floral embroidery perfect for Summer Weddings.

Joining the duo were Bebo’s BFF Amrita Arora and Sophie Choudry who were also spotted showcasing the glitter collection at the show. We loved how Sophie wore a white feather detailed free-flowing gown with a deep neckline whereas Amrita Arora wore a short dress with gold sequins and a mix of feather embellishment. The show was undoubtedly a huge success. All the posing and the endless selfies continued post the completion of the event. The Summer Couture 2018 will surely go down as one of Kareena Kapoor and Manish Malhotra's best!
