Dipika Kakar is gearing up to welcome her first baby with her husband Shoaib Ibrahim. Reportedly, she's due next month. While the actress is enjoying her pregnancy phase, she has decided to quit acting. During a media interaction, Dipika said she doesn't want to work anymore and desires to lead a life as a housewife and mother.

She told, "I am enjoying this phase of pregnancy and welcoming our first child. The excitement is on another level. I started working at a very young age and continued for about 10 – 15 years at a stretch. As my pregnancy journey began, I told Shoaib that I don’t want to work and want to quit acting. I want to live a life as a housewife and mother."

In January this year, Dipika and Shoaib shared the baby news with their fans. They fell in love with each other on the set of their daily soap, Sasural Simar Ka. In 2018, Dipika and Shoaib tied the knot after dating for almost 5 years.
