A few months ago, Vikas Gupta shared a video on Instagram wherein he spoke about how his sexuality strained his relationship with his mother and brother. In the same video, Vikas opened up about his relationship with actors Parth Samthaan and Priyank Sharma. While Vikas is staying all by himself after a fall out with his family, the gap in the relationship has visibly widened. Vikas' brother, actor Siddharth Gupta hosted his birthday party recently but didn't invite the television producer.
Talking about his absence, Vikas said Sidharth and his brother find it embarrassing to have him around and hence they don't want to be seen with him. "My brother Sid and my mother left my home sometime ago, things had gone very bad after I disclosed my bisexuality to the world. My family finds it embarrassing to have me around them. They don't want to be seen with me. Our society can be difficult, so not inviting me to the birthday is fine. I don't wish to spoil their celebrations," Vikas told.
When Siddharth was asked about Vikas' absence, he dodged the question and said,"How does what I do on my birthday make news? This is my personal life and why am I being questioned about this?"
