After 'Ramayana' and 'Mahabharat', Shah Rukh Khan's 'Circus' to be re-telecast on Doordarshan from tonight

With Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar announcing the retelecast of the popular television serial of the 1980s, Ramayana and Mahabharat on Doordarshan during the 21-day national lockdown, social media is full of request for retelecast of Shah Rukh Khan satrrer Circus. People seem to be having a rush of nostalgia about these serials, which used to dominate the television in the late 1980s and early 1990s. These epics aired on Doordarshan kept people glued to their TV sets. Everybody used to watch these serials together with their friends and family. Those who didn't have a television at home used to visit neighbors to make sure they didn't miss a single episode.

Now, it's good news for all the fans as after Ramayana and Mahabharat, SRK's Circus is also going to air on DoordarshanCircus featuring Shah Rukh will re-telecast on DD National from Saturday, March 28, at 8 pm. Circus followed the lives of circus artists as they go about their daily routines surviving the twists and turns life throws at them.

Several channels are re-running old serials as no new or existing show in being shot due to the COVID-19 lockdown announced by PM Narendra Modi.
