Ekta Kapoor bids adieu to ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ team, hints about her new project with Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi

One of the longest running Indian television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has finally come to an end. After entertaining the audience for almost six years with the cute love story between Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman Bhalla (Karan Patel) the show is all set to bid adieu to its fans.

Sharing a video with Divyanka and Karan on her Instagram page, producer Ekta Kapoor hinted that fans may see Divyanka and Karan again on an alternate medium. She wrote, "Every end is a beginning ... every bye is a hi.... let's meet soon in ' alt'ernate or parallel universe (sic)."

Karan had recently penned a heartfelt note on his social media for his YHM team and fans. He shared a picture of himself with his co-star Divyanka and said that the show has been special to him in several ways. Divyanka too thanked Ekta for giving her the opportunity to play Ishita that changed her life forever.

YHM will be replaced by its spin-off Yeh Hai Chahtein wherein Sargun Kaur and Abrar Qazi will be the lead roles. The show will revolve around a single mother and her journey to find true love. It will premier its first episode on December 19, 2019.
