Nakuul Mehta takes a dig at Rani Mukherji for her #MeToo comment

At one of the round-table conferences, Bollywood actresses including Rani, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Taapsee Pannu, Anushka Sharma and Tabu had discussed #MeToo moment where Rani spoke about how self-defense was the need of the hour. Ishqbaaz actor Nakuul Mehta took a sharp dig at Rani for giving more importance to women learning martial arts than the need for a transparent environment for their safety, as suggested by the other actors.

Tina Datta reveals about being in an abusive relationship

Tina Datta, who rose to fame with serial Uttaran revealed that she was in an abusive relationship with someone who was not from the film industry. The actress said that if she finds the right person as her life partner, she will settle down and even give up acting!

Singer Neha Kakkar tryst with depression post her breakup from Himansh Kohli

Former Indian Idol 10 judge Neha Kakkar who broke up with actor-boyfriend Himansh Kohli had admitted in a series of Instagram posts that she is going through one of the worst phases of her life. She had shared her feelings with her fans stating that she was suffering from depression and took her time to open up about the same. 

Asit Modi takes a final call on Disha Vakani’s replacement in TMKOC

It’s been almost two years, the fans of popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have not seen the character of Dayaben (essayed by Disha Vakani) in the show. Apparently, the makers might replace her if the actress doesn’t give her final decision. In one of the statements released by producer Asit Modi, he mentioned that if Disha doesn’t announce her final decision; they will introduce another face in her place, soon. 

Comedian Kapil Sharma apologizes to PM Narendra Modi

Actor Rajkumar Rao had visited the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga wherein he mentioned that PM Narendra Modi is upset with Kapil Sharma over his tweet against BMC in 2016. To which, Kapil immediately apologized to him on the national channel and ended a two-year long topic. Kapil later ended Modi's swearing-in ceremony last month in the capital city. 

Ekta Kapoor becomes a mother via surrogacy

Ekta Kapoor became a mother to a baby boy - Ravie - via surrogacy on January 27. Her father and veteran actor Jeetendra's real name is Ravi Kapoor and so she named her son after him.

TV couple Ridhi Dogra and Raqesh Bapat split after 7 years

Navjot Singh Sidhu sacked from TKSS for his comment on Pulwama attack

Tinaa Datta accused co-star Mohit Malhotra of touching inappropriately

 

Actress Tinaa Datta accused his co-star Mohit Malhotra for touching inappropriately which led to her break down on the sets of Daayan. However, the latter denied the allegations vehemently. Later, the makers of their show Daayan sat with both of them and mended their differences. Tinaa later declared in a statement that they have ironed out their differences.

Hina Khan NOT quitting Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2

There was a lot of buzz about Hina Khan, who played the iconic role of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 quitting the show for her Bollywood career. However, the actress put an end to all these rumours stating that she has taken a break from TV and has not quit the show.

Srishty Rode and Manish Naggdev break-up

Post Bigg Boss 12, Srishty Rode called off her four-year-long relationship with actor Manish Naggdev. Their separation came as a shock for most of their close friends. A few months after the break-up, Manish took to his Instagram to reveal that Srishty used him for her professional gains and then dumped him.

Vahbiz Dorabjee demands 2 crore alimony from Vivian Dsena

Small screen actors Vahbiz Dorabjee and Vivian Dsena separated in 2016 and guess what? Even after almost three years now, their divorce has not been finalized. Reportedly, Vahbiz’s demand for Rs 2 crore as alimony is holding up the divorce proceedings. Vahbiz refused to comment on it saying, “I don’t want to comment on it as it is too personal."

Magazine editor Jitesh Pillai mocks Hina Khan Cannes red carpet look

TV actress Hina Khan had made a glamorous appearance on the prestigious red carpet of 72nd Cannes Film Festival. But things took an ugly turn when back home, a renowned editor of a popular entertainment magazine mocked her for her red carpet debut quoting "Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studios kya?" on his social media page. This did not go down well with TV fraternity who stood in her support, including actor Salman Khan, until the editor rendered an apology. 

#MenToo - Karan Oberoi accused of raping a 34-year old woman

Singer-actor Karan Oberoi was accused of raping a 34-year-old woman on the pretext of marriage and blackmailing her with a video clip. He was arrested on May 6 and after a month was granted a bail by the Bombay High Court on a bond of Rs 50,000. Later on, after investigation, it was revealed that the complaint had staged the attack to show the accused in a bad light. The complainant was then arrested by the Mumbai police. 
 

KSG returns to TV after a six-year gap

Popular TV actor Karan Singh Grover made his comeback on the small screen after a gap of six years. The actor is playing the iconic character of Mr. Bajaj in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. He bagged the role beating the likes of Barun Sobti, Iqbal Khan and more, and has been receiving rave reviews for his salt n pepper look. 

Aansh Arora files a complaint against Ghaziabad Police

Television actor Aansh Arora filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission against the Ghaziabad Police. The actor has alleged that he was tortured by the police at the Indirapuram police station on May 12 night. However, the CCTV footage showed otherwise that it was Aansh himself who went on a destructive rampage first. 

Siddharth Sagar and Subuhi Joshi calls off their engagement

Comedian Siddharth Sagar’s fiancé Subuhi Joshi called off their engagement over domestic violence issues. The two had got engaged in an intimate ceremony in Delhi in November 2018. Siddharth aka Selfie Mausi, his popular on-stage name, was earlier in the news when he accused his own parents of mental harassment and had filed an NC against his family.

After news of music director Anu Malik's return as a judge on singing reality television show Indian Idol's season 11 emerged, singer Sona Mohapatra voiced her discontentment with the decision. The singer has slammed the channel (Sony TV) and the makers for considering Malik to judge the show, who is alleged of #MeToo charges. She expressed her disbelief in a series of tweets.

Priya Bathija suffered domestic violence in her marriage

Daayan actress Priya Bathija revealed that she suffered domestic violence in her marriage with DJ Kawaljeet Saluja. The actress said that she took a divorce on mutual consent because she didn’t want to stretch the matter and her family wanted her to get out of the relationship as soon as possible.
