The actor will replace Kartikey Malviya in the extension of the serial Porus.

“I had taken a break from fiction shows, because I wasn’t a child anymore nor was I grown up to play an adult. However, with this character and its age, everything has fallen into place. I am excited about playing Chandragupta Maurya after essaying Maharana Pratap, as the two characters are different. While earlier I played the role of the younger Maharana Pratap, in the new show, I am essaying the grown-up Chandragupta Maurya,” Faisal Khan said in a statement.

Apparently for this role Faisal has been asked to lose some weight and also maintain a beard. It will be interesting for fans of the child actor to see him all grown up over the years on screen.
