Veteran TV actor Ashiesh Roy gets admitted to ICU after he suffers a paralytic attack

Veteran TV actor Ashiesh Roy, who has acted in shows such as Remix, Sasural Simar Ka, Mere Angne Mein and Banegi Apni Baat, has been admitted to ICU after suffering a paralytic stroke. The 53-year-old is admitted to the Criti Care hospital in Juhu, Mumbai.

Confirming the same to PeepingMoon, Ashiesh’s driver said, "Two days back, sir was supposed to leave from his house at 7:30 am for a shoot but he couldn’t get up from his bed. He complained that his right hand and right leg have no movements. Immediately, I called the ambulance and got him admitted to one the hospitals, where the doctor said that he got a paralytic attack on the right side of his body. Doctor has asked him to be admitted at least for a week."

Apparently, the actor also has a clot in his brain and is currently on strong medication in the Intensive Care Unit.

Writer-producer Vinta Nanda shared the news on her Facebook page by writing, "URGENT: Ashiesh Roy I'm told by Promita Mukherjee is in #ICU at #CriticareHospital in #Juhu. Reportedly, Ashiesh was hospitalised due to blood clot in his brain in August last year as well and he also underwent a surgery for the same at that time.
