Popular television actress Drashti Dhami who was recently in news for her sudden exit from serial Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka is back into the news. Few reports suggested that Drashti was considered to romance Nakuul Mehta in serial Ishqbaaz post its leap. However, the actress has refused to be a part of this development.
While talking to PeepingMoon, Drashti Dhami said, “I don’t know where are these news coming from; I am not joining any show right now.”
The show will take a leap in a couple of weeks from now with a new star cast and a new storyline. As we all know, Surbhi bid goodbye to the show owing to the fact that she didn’t want to play a mother on screen, and the makers are in search for a new face to replace her. Post the leap, the show will shift its focus on the love story of Shivaansh Singh Oberoi, which will be played by Nakuul Mehta. Apart from Drashti Dhami, we also hear that Sanaya Irani too had been considered for the lead role. However, she too hasn’t confirmed her presence yet.

Meanwhile, rumour has it that Surbhi will join comedian Sunil Grover and his team in his new comedy show – Kanpur Wale Khuranas where she will be seen playing Kunal Kemmu’s girlfriend – he wants to get married to her but cannot till all his other sisters do.
