Initial stage

Although his journey began on small screen with a faith-oriented show Shraddha in 2009, he capitulated to envious fame and success with 2011 romantic drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. As the rich, arrogant business tycoon Arnav Singh Raizada, Barun swept off every fan off her feet and there has been no looking back. So much so that when he quit IPKKND in a bid to move to Bollywood, his fans were completely against the replacement and the makers had to shut down the show.
