After Khichdi, Dus Ka Dum and Kasautii Zindagi Kay, another show that is coming back on television is Ladies Special. The emotional drama aired nine years ago and told us the stories of four independent women taking the same Ladies Special local train to their work daily.
The show had Neena Gupta, Ashita Dhawan, Shilpa Tulaskar and Payal Sarkar playing pivotal roles. Reportedly, Sony channel is all set to revive the show with a brand new star cast and will go on floors by September end.
The first season narrated the four women’s daily struggles and how they strike a bond while commuting to work together. It aired its first episode on 25th May 2009 and ended in just seven months (9th December 2009).
And did you know, Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh was a teen star back then and played the role of Shilpa Tulaskar’s daughter in the series.
The casting for the new season has already begun. This time, the story will revolve around three ladies who belong to Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra and their chronicles with life.
