Khatron Ke Khiladi winner Shantanu Maheshwari, who aced each stunt on the show this season bringing the trophy home, has also made fans go crazy with his moves on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. But do you now Dancing was not Shantanu’s first love!?

The dancer-actor was actually quite a cool badminton champ through his childhood days! He was quite the sporty type as a child, and even though he fell short in height, he loved showcasing his badminton playing skills whenever he got the chance to do so!

Reminiscing his childhood days back home in Kolkata on Children's day, Shantanu said, "Back home in Kolkata, we had a lot of kids and adults in our building who liked playing badminton. I too absolutely loved the game, and would with all sheer interest help the elder boys actually set up one of the garages we used to play in with a net, get the rackets, the shuttlecock and then go and call everyone in and around to come and play.  We would have quite a few competitions too, in our building amongst the elder and younger boys, and even though I was quite short back then, I would go all out and play the game, and have won quite a few matches too! Remembering those memories now, really bring a smile to my face. Some of them being ones to cherish for a lifetime."
