Still famous for being the girl Salman Khan loved and lost, Sangeeta is now in talks to make a glamorous appearance on the popular Star Plus show Ishqbaaz. If things do fall into place, it would be Bijli – as she was called - ‘s debut on the small screen after her Eighties’ blockbusters like Tridev and Gunahon Ka Devta.

Single post her divorce from ex-cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, Sangeeta will apparently essay the role of a glamorous character with shades of grey. In time-honored vamp tradition, her beauty-with-brains character will create turmoil within the Oberoi family and be the woman all love to hate! While the makers are very keen on signing on Bijli for the role and have approached her for the same, she has yet to sign on the dotted line.

With this comeback, Sangeeta could well be open to exploring a return to the big screen as well. Not long ago she had spoken of the new trend of films like Pink and Parched, adding that she would love to be part of films like these. While she is accepting the ad offers that are coming her way, she won’t take the plunge into films unless something really special comes up.
