The actress is popularly known as Varsha of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She is the second lead in the show and was shown to be the bestie of the show's ex protagonist Akshara aka Hina Khan. The actress got married to Manish Arora, a businessman from Akola. The two tied the knot in November 2015. This would be the couple's first little bundle of joy together. The actress initially did not want to reveal her pregnancy but slowly with time, she started posting subtle hints about the good news. The actress, post pregnancy has vanished from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to focus on her new chapter in real life. This is the first time in 8 years that the actress has been absent from the show for so long.
Pooja will join the bandwagon of yummy mummies of Telly Vile like Paridhi Sharma, Chhahatt Khanna, Pooja Sharma who have delivered in the the past one year.
