Actress Priya Marathe is one of the very popular actors not just of the Marathi industry but also in the Hindi GEC sector.

The actress is currently all geared up for her new show Ayushman Bhav. Set in the by-lanes of Mathura, this show will see Priya essay the role of Sudha Mehta, a mother of an eight year old boy. The show that depicts the poignant tale of vengeance featuring an eight year old boy Krish (played by Rieky Patel) went on air on August 28, 2017 on Star Bharat (Life OK's rebrand).

When Priya was asked about the same, she said “Yes, I will be playing the role of Sudha Mehta in the show. The concept of the show is very different and hence I accepted the role. The viewers will see the lovely bond of a mother and a son. Rieky Patel plays the role of my child who means the world to my character. I am very excited to play the role of a loving mother and an ideal wife.”

The actress rose to fame with her positive turned negative character in the hit show Pavitra Rishta. She played the role of Ankita Lokhande aka Archana 's younger sister who gets obsessed with Archana aka Ankita's son since she is unable to have a child of her own. Post that, she was seen in Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya. The actress played a negative role in the show.
