Vani Rani's Iqbal Azad and Sanjay Gandhi bond like long lost BFFs on sets

Actor Iqbal Azad and Sanjay Gandhi who essay the roles of half-brothers on &TV’s Vani Rani are constantly seen at loggerheads on the show. But the two when the camera isn't rolling are simply inseparable. Iqbal and Sanjay have known each other for a long time as they have been part of many plays in the past.

Speaking about their BFF equation, Iqbal said “Sanjay and I go back a long time. I have known him through his struggles as an actor and I respect him for all the hard work he has put in to reach where he is today. The best part about him is that he is always so down to earth and does not believe in playing politics. We share a very good rapport and I enjoy spending time with him on the set.”

Sanjay shares “A true friend is a person you can always rely on and Iqbal is definitely one of those friends for me at any point of my life. While shooting with him, I am in my comfort zone as we have worked together in the past. It is like we are always in sync.”

A source from the set shared, “You will find both of them always pulling each other’s leg on set, either Sanjay is pulling a prank on Iqbal or Iqbal is cracking a joke at Sanjay’s expense. It is really nice to see veteran actors keep aside their ego and make most of their time together as co-actors”

Vani Rani stars National Award Winner Tanvi Azmi, and is a unique story about identical sisters, who are completely diverse in nature and deal with the intricacies of their relationships.
