On Saturday morning, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided comedian Bharti Singh's and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s flat in Mumbai in connection to the Drugs Case. The raid was being carried out by the agency at three different places including Andheri, Lokhandwala, and Versova area. PeepingMoon sources confirmed that Bharti and Harsh were present at the flat when NCB raided. The couple's named cropped up after interrogation of a drug peddler. Some suspicious products were also been recovered from their home. Soon after, both Bharti and Haarsh were summoned by the agency.
Now, PeepingMoon has got its hands on two videos of Bharti and Haarsh reaching the NCB office for interrogation. Reportedly, the couple has been detained by the authorities. When asked about consuming drugs, Bharti denied the allegation on the camera. In the video, Bharti is seen saying that they have come just for questioning. She said, "Bas puchtach k liye laye hai, kuch nahi bhai". In another video, Haarsh is seen getting out of a van and running towards the NCB office, dodging the cameras.
The federal anti-narcotics agency has been probing the alleged drug nexus case and has raided the residences of many popular celebrities.
In past, popular names from the Bollywood have been under the radar, with likes of Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor being probed by NCB.
