Rajinikanth’s and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 is faring exceptionally well at the box office as the film has collected Rs 97.25 crore within four days of its release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, meanwhile, tweeted that 2.0 put up a “superb total” in its extended opening weekend while he also added that the film is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark on Monday.
2.0 released on November 29 and earned Rs 20.25 crore on its opening day, Rs 18 crore on Friday, Rs 25 crore on Saturday and Rs 34 crore on Sunday. From the numbers, it is quite clear that the film fared well over the weekend.

2.0 is a multilingual film and released in Tamil and Telugu apart from Hindi. Both Telugu and Tamil versions earned Rs 20 crore each on its opening day. The film is doing good business abroad as well.

2.0 is a science fiction action film, written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by A. Subaskaran. The film serves as a sequel to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran, while Rajinikanth reprises his role of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti in it. Akshay appears as the antagonist in the film.
