Hichki – The hiccups are gone!
Hichki has been growing in appeal at the box office. It brought in Rs.3.30 crore on Friday, Rs.5.35 crore on Saturday, Rs.6.70 crore on Sunday, Rs.2.40 crore on Monday, and Rs.2.35 crore on Tuesday. Released across 961 screens, its total India business has crossed Rs.20.10 crore.

In a double whammy for Hichki’s lead actress Rani Mukherji, her performance has been appreciated by both the audiences as well as the critics. After a slow start, business of the film has picked up due to a combination of word of mouth and good reviews.

Raid’s Invasion
This Ajay Degn starrer has been unstoppable at the box office. It retained a firm hold at the turnstiles in its second week. The break-up reads like this: Friday - Rs.3.55 crore, Saturday - 5.71 crore, Sunday – Rs.7.22 crore, Monday – Rs.2.42 crore, Tuesday – Rs.2.41 crore, Wednesday - 2.62 crore. The total Indian business stands at Rs.86.98 crore.

The film caters to the current mood against black money and corruption, as it portrays Ajay Devgn as an honest IT officer in a true incident about the longest Income Tax raid in Indian history.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Sustains
More moolah coming in for this surprise entertainer. The film collected Rs.46 lakh on Wednesday, bringing its total collections to Rs.106.23 crore. This Kartik Aryan-Nushrat Bharucha rom-com, directed by Luv Ranjan, continues its happy run at the box office.

The film has appealed to the younger audience, who has clicked with its theme of bromance vs romance. The film has managed to find a rank as the third most profitable venture of 2018 so far after Padmaavat and PadMan.
