“Family is like music, some high notes, some low notes but in the end, it’s a beautiful song” this quote was proved by the housemates on the occasion of Diwali last night. With all the cacophony in the house for past so many weeks finally, housemates had a Diwali celebration. Video messages had come from each participant's home which Bigg Boss was supposed to play for them, but it had a twist. You will be surprised to know how much love housemates actually have for each other as when the arch-rivals were pitted against each other they chose to put a smile on their opponents face.
Romil was truly the hero of the day as he sacrificed for Somi and broke the myth that relationships in the house are just made for cameras. He did his perfect elder brother act. Sreesanth also showed his generous side for Deepak as despite being his birthday and Diwali he sacrificed for him. Karanveer and Shiv too played perfect elder brothers for Surbhi. Srishty and Dipika chose Romil’s toddler over their family. Overall it was a day when nobody in the house had a negative bone and for once there was truly a one big Happy Club.

The housemates woke up to a Happy Diwali song and Deepak was seen getting emotional. The entire house was decorated with a big lovely rangoli in the garden. Housemates were also dressed in traditional attired for the occasion. Shiv and Jasleen had a friendly argument over breakfast. Karanveer announced the Diwali task wherein housemates were told about the video message that had come from their families. They all clicked a Diwali selfie. Bigg Boss started playing a small piece from the recording. Shiv heard his sister. Surbhi was excited at the thought that after so long they are hearing voices of their family members and just then she heard her mother. Next was KV who heard from his family. The three were called in the activity area by Bigg Boss.
The three were excited as they prepared themselves to see their family after so long but Bigg Boss had other plans as he announced the twist. Bigg Boss said that only one of them will be shown the video and they had to decide upon the name mutually. Considering his emotional breakdown Surbhi and Karanveer voted for Shiv and he voted for Surbhi. Surbhi refused to agree but Shiv convinced her and KV and they said that it’s a gift from her elder brothers and forced her to agree. Surbhi got emotional and agreed. As KV and Shiv came out early they broke the twist to the remaking housemates and their spirits were dampened. An emotional Karanveer looked at his family pictures and cried. Surbhi’s mother wished her and complimented her looks and her game. She came out and started crying near the bathroom area. Shiv and KV cheered her up. The boisterous Surbhi who was always at loggerheads with Shiv and especially Karanveer today hugged KV and fell short of words to thank him.
Next Bigg Boss played a song that Jasleen said she had written in her childhood, she couldn’t hold back her tears. Somi heard her mom next and when Megha, Dipika and others were consoling her Megha heard her daughter calling her world’s best mother. The three were next to go in and they chose Jasleen. Somi said that already so much was being Sai about her outside and that was making her weak and hence she said that Jasleen required it more. Megha said that since Somi is nominated there are chances for she meeting her family soon and hence she chose Jasleen. Jasleen’s father and other family members told her that she was doing good on the show and how her entire bunch of relatives got on the phone every day after the show everyday. He did not divulge into the Anup topic. Jasleen came out crying and Shiv consoled her. She thanked Somi and Megha for their sacrifice.
Deepak heard his father singing a bhajan, along with Sree’s wife calling him by his nickname “Gopu” and Rohit too heard his father. The three went inside. Rohit and Sreesanth instantly chose Deepak over themselves as he was already having a physical set back. Deepak said he is fine and wanted Sree to speak to his wife and kid as it was his birthday and Diwali. At last, they convinced Deepak and he got emotional seeing his entire family. Deepak’s mother gave him a typical reaction of how thin has he become and should eat properly. His father and sister said he had made everyone proud. Deepak couldn’t hold back his tears. He came out and gave a tight hug to Sree.

They were all in the garden area when Dipika heard Shohaib’s voice and broke down and yelled “ I Love You” with tears rolling down her cheeks. Srishty’s mother lovingly addressed her with her nickname kuttu and she too got emotional. Next was Romil who heard his wife. The three went inside and Srishty and Dipika chose Romil as they said that he should meet his son at this point of time. They left and just when Bigg Boss was going to play his video, Romil told Bigg Boss that he had a request. Bigg Boss asked him and Romil said that his family is always there with him but right now the one person who really needed to see her family was Somi as she was feeling very low after Saba’s exit and so many things happening in the house. He told Bigg Boss that he did not say this in front of Dipika and Srishty as Dipika had made him swear on his son that he would not argue and abide by their decision. Bigg Boss granted him his wish and asked him to send Somi inside.

Romil went and asked Somi to go in. Somi was taken by complete surprise and couldn’t believe her fate. She was happy but it was also wrapped with guilt too. Finally, Somi saw her family and she got really emotional. Romil apologized to Dipika and Srishty. Dipika and Srishty said it was okay. Shiv said that he should have at least discussed but Romil said there was no chance. Somi came out and hugged Romil
Romil went inside and cried holding the toy he had received from his home. Somi was crying and Romil pulled her leg saying that it’s good to see her cry and that she had not cried for four days. Romil was sitting in the garden area and Somi said that no one had ever done something so special for her.
Romil and Rohit were sitting in the garden area and Deepak came in and asked Romil where did this idea come to him from. Deepak said he was feeling jealous the way Somi was treating him as a hero. Rohit, Romil, and Deepak have a light moment and when Somi came in Romil said that it was Deepak’s idea. Somi does not believe it and they all have a light moment.
Bigg Boss announced that popular numerologist Sanjay Jumaani will be entering the house. Jasleen went in first and he told her that she is an emotional person and give “Zor ka jhatka dheere se” to people. Next was Megha and he told her that 37th year would be good for her and she might foray into Hindi industry too. Outside Srishty had a confrontation with Rohit. She asked him if he had ever said that she is in the house because of him. Rohit denied and Srishty asked him to recall everything precisely. After a while, Rohit said that Sreesanth was the one to actually say it. Srishty said she cannot touch anyone. Somi went in next and Sanjay said that at the age of 25 what she had achieved was commendable and she should be happy about it. To Surbhi he advised her to stay away from her hometown for more prosperity and the men she should avoid in life. Srishty went up next and he handed her a word of caution and said that friends might take advantage of her. To Dipika, he said that she would shine just like the other Deepika. Karanveer went up next and Sanjay told him that he was playing good. To Shiv he said that he will take all the Zor ka jhataka’s in life very dheere se. Last to go was Sreesanth and he compliments Sree for his game. Sanjay said that he personally knew him and was one of the most humble celebs he had come across. He also added that Sree was being himself in the game. Sreesanth asked him about his chances of getting back to cricket and he advised him to stay focused on the creative side.
Sanjay Jumani left the house and Bigg Boss played some music and everybody broke into a dance. Surbhi, Romil, Somi, and Deepak have a light moment before going to bed. And that’s how a peaceful day. Looks like the celebrations in the house were only for a day as tomorrow Karanveer, Romil, Megha and Somi would be fighting out for captaincy.
