It is that time of the year when every nook and corner brightens up with colourful lights, supermarkets are buzzing with people and those savings is finally being put to use. Yes, it is Diwali and while everyone if soaking themselves in the festive fervour so was the Bigg Boss house as Sana Khan and Sapna Chaudhary entered the house for some fun. The fun came to a close with Chef Zoravar treating the housemates to some delicacies.
Amidst all this Sreesanth won the captaincy task and took over as the new captain of the house. With majority of the housemates supporting him Jasleen was left with a bad taste in her mouth. Sreesanth lent an olive branch to Karanvir which by the looks of it he accepted but later on was heard complaining about it to Dipika.
Here’s all that happened in the Bigg Boss house:
The housemates woke up to the song Kyun paisa paisa karti hai. Deepak seemed to be getting serious over Somi and asked Shiv to convince him. Shiv asked Deepak if he was ready to marry Somi and he said yes. Deepak told him that after hearing things from Vikas he felt more confident. Romil and Megha were discussing about who they feel would be the next captain of the house.
Srishty said that Bigg Boss had asked her to tell her team to choose two candidates who deserved to run for captaincy. As Dipika, Sree, KV, Jasleen and Srishty discuss there was friction between them for names. Sree argued that he wanted to be the contender and Jasleen was also adamant that she wanted to run for captaincy. When KV and Dipika objected that Sree had even changed his team and hence he did not deserve to be the captain, Sree accused Vikas of not giving him a chance and called him “Pagal.”
Romil tried to have fun and poked Jasleen to make things even worse. Dipika and Srishty warned him to stay away. Sree said that they have always supported KV and others and not him. After much argument and discussions Sreesanth and Jasleen were chosen as contenders for the next captaincy task. Deepak as a captain broke the rule and removed some cans of Appy Fizz from the fridge and Bigg Boss pulled him for that.
Bigg Boss then announced the “BB Diwali Mela” and Karanvir read out the rules. Both Sree and Jasleen were given Rs 1,50,000 and they had to spend that money in pleasing the housemates by buying them clothes to get their support for captaincy. The first round opened only for Jasleen, second for Sreesanth and third for both. The housemates had to wear the badge of the contestant they supported. The persons whose badge is worn the most will win the task. Deepak was the sanchalak of the task.
Deepak, Somi and Sree make strategy to play the game. As the fire cracker sound went housemates rushed to the garden area and saw Sana Khan selling fancy clothes to them. They all get excited choosing an outfit for themselves. Jasleen tried to get Surbhi on her side by bribing her but she disagreed. Jasleen brought clothes to many like Karanvir, Somi and Dipika only on a promise that they will support her. Romil and Deepak were talking about who the housemates will be supporting Jasleen or not. They feel that Jasleen will be shunned. Deepak said that Jasleen anyways did not have it in her to be the captain.
The second round began where Sreesanth had the privilege to choose who will he give the golden seats to as they cost 20,000. The ones sitting on the floor was 1,000. Initially Sreesanth decided that he and Jasleen will sit on the golden chair as they were contenders but later changed it to Deepak as he was hurt. Deepak was also the ticket master in the round.
As they entered the activity area they get excited seeing that Sapna Chaudhary was going to perform. Sapna had the entire house dancing to her tunes and even girls whistled at her thumkas. Karanvir, Deepak and everyone danced their heart out. Romil was in awe of Sapna and sat stunned throughout her performance and later everyone teased him for that. Post her performance she met everyone and spoke to everyone. Deepak, Surbhi and especially Rohit were elated as she complimented Rohit as “handsome.” Later Rohit and Surbhi were heard flaunting who she liked most. Somi couldn’t thank Bigg Boss enough for the fun. Srishty questioned Sree about his concern when she was hurt. Sree said that he was not in his senses then.
Dipika and Karanvir spoke about how Sree had not turned to them for support. Later Dipika and Sree cleared their misunderstanding. Later Rohit changed his badge to Sree. Sree told Dipika that he is anyways going this week. Round 3 began and celebrity chef Zorawar Kalra and his team treated the housemates with some delicacies. Chef Zorawar said that he would give a discount if housemates told him who are they supporting and why. Srishty supported Sree, Dipika supported Jasleen. Surbhi supported Sree and said that they have moved on from their fight and Sree is a good man at heart. Somi supported Jasleen and said that she loved her confident that despite she getting such little support she has still not given up.
With this “BB Diwali Mela” came to an end and since maximum housemates supported Sreesanth, Deepak told Bigg Boss that he was the new captain of the house. A happy Srishty requested Sree to come and hug out things with KV on the occasion. Sree said that Srishty stole his thunder as he was planning to do it. Finally, Sree and Karanvir hugged it out. Sree made an entire speech thanking everyone for their support and apologizing for his past behavior. Sreesanth made a special apology to Rohit for comments on his sexuality.
Later in the night, Karanvir was heard talking to Dipika about Sreesanth and his apology. KV told Dipika that he didn’t feel that something was right. When Dipika probed further he said that he still had trust issues with Sree.
Near the bathroom area Jasleen was washing her face when Rohit asked her to be careful as the water was spilling out. Jasleen does not pay any heed and Rohit removed the tissue box that was getting wet. When Jasleen walked out, Srishty, Rohit and Urvashi made faces at her and condemn her action. They felt it was her retaliation to them not supporting her for captaincy.
In the night Jasleen spoke to Surbhi and told her that she was upset with the housemates as,on one hand they speak against Sreesanth all the time and on the other hand everyone supported him. She said this showed pure hypocrisy and herd mentality. Just when you thought that KV and Sree were friends again the preview showed Sree sending KV to jail and this creating a huge furore in the house.
