Bigg Boss Season 11 which will premiere on the 14th of January, 2017 finally has its top five contestants: Hina Khan,Vikas Gupta, Akash Dadlani, Puneesh Sharma and Shilpa Shinde. A shocking turn of events, Akash Dadlani was shown the exit door in a midnight eviction.
PeepingMoon spoke to the young rapper now that he’s out and boy, was he unhappy about his eviction. Here’s what he had to say:
On his eviction:
I am really shocked! I mean, I wanted to see myself in the top four. I still can’t believe that I am out of the show. For the first time, I got a chance to stay with so many people under one roof. The experience was amazing and full of fun. It will take some time to come out of it. I have no words to explain.
On his relationship with renowned singer and composer, Vishal Dadlani:
I remember, a few years back, I was at Meet Bros. studio where I met this guy called Mamo. He was the man behind bringing Michael Jackson to India. So, when I introduced myself; he called up Vishal Dadlani and asked about my father, Anil Govindram Dadlani. Vishal reverted back saying that he does recognize my father whom he met in an accident in Japan when I was just 2 year old.
In fact, Mamo made me speak to Vishal where he asked me to work hard to gain name and money. However, I was surprised when he said that he doesn’t know me at all. Of course, he knows me very well.
On being labeled as the ‘bad boy’:
Honestly, I was doing this just for the game. I had to show different shades of my personality. People outside the house know me better. Obviously, I am not a celebrity; I had to earn my name and get recognition. However, I am not all a bad person; I’m a cool person to hang out with.
On his relationship with Shilpa whom he once called ‘Maa’:
All I want to say is that I don’t want to see Shilpa Shinde winning the show. She doesn’t deserve the title at all. Everybody including Puneesh, Vikas and Hina are deserving candidates; but Shilpa is a fake person. She only cooks food and does nothing.
Initially, Shilpa and I started on a very good note. Shilpa and I were against everyone and we made a good Jodi. We could have reached the finals together; however, Shilpa ditched me. She did not give me a chance to become a captain. She was just using me to play the game. Later on, when I realized this, I decided to not support her. Though, I don’t have any grudges against her; but still I don’t want her to win the show.
On who he think should win the show:
I want Puneesh Sharma to win the show. He is a very good friend of mine. I would be very happy to see him lifting the trophy.
Akash Dadlani hails from Mumbai and has lived most of his live in the USA. He has previously worked with Sukhwinder Singh and Meet brothers. In the future he plans on working on his music and continue being part of the entertainment industry
