Weekend ka Vaar was nothing close to what I expected it to be. Considering the way things are going in the house, with people openly flouting rules, not respecting the captain's orders and the mother of all, Arshi calling Sapna a “ Naachnewali”. Salman did not say a single word on any of these.
So here’s how the show began. Salman was seen getting ready in the secret chalet that is built for him in the house and talking to the Shrimati.
As he entered the stage his favorite Jallad comes in with a box that had pluck cards with a few contestants face on it. Salman pokes fun at Shilpa by calling her Sridevi of Sadma, Hina -Mother India, Vikas as Amrish Puri of DDLJ and so on.
He enters the house through Me-TV and asks the new lovebirds of the house to grace the couch kept in the living room. He said the bond of these new found lovers is the most genuine bond he has seen in the house. Puneesh and Bandgi were seen blushing as they thought he was talking about them, just like most of the viewers who were glued to the TV sets. But he called Arshi and Hiten to sit on it. While Arshi enjoyed all the attention Hiten’s reaction was priceless.
Then each contestant was called in a witness box “Katgarah” that was placed in the living room.
Arshi was the first to stand there. Arshi was accused of being a “Nagin” and she wholeheartedly accepted that. She went on to say that she has venom and she spews it. When Salman asked her if she is like this only in front of cameras or even beyond that, Arshi replied that this is how she is in real life. She won Salman’s praise for the same. Shilpa and Arshi were seen fighting again as Shilpa said that Arshi is worst than a daily soap vamp.
Shilpa was the next one to enter the Katgarah and was accused of flipping. Arshi accused Shilpa of planning and plotting the next days move every night and then changing her stance and also using abuses in the house to which Vikas agreed.
Hina was the third one to enter the Katgarah and she was accused of not maintaining her friendships, being a crybaby when cornered and poking fun at Vikas’ sexuality which has led to the major fall out between them. Bandgi said she heard Hina, Hiten, and Shivani talking about where will Hiten sleep and if he sleeps with Vikas then ford knows what will happen with him in the morning. Vikas said he was hurt as this comment came from a friend. Hina accused Bandgi for plotting and misquoting them.
Vikas was the next in the Katgarah. He was accused of not working and helping in the daily chores to which Vikas explained about his injury. Vikas opened a can of worms. He accused Puneesh Shilpa, Arshi and Akash choreographing the fights.
Arshi and Puneesh said that they planned to get Priyank out but Shilpa changed her decision at the last moment and decided to concentrate on Vikas instead.
Vikas also said that with Shilpa he crossed the line and was apologetic about the same. He said that he could not understand how to deal with a woman who is this extreme.
The comment about Hina trying to build a support with Luv also came up. To this Vikas brought instances from the past where Hina was seen close to Zubair, then Priyank.
He made it clear why he was so upset about Arshi and Hina making up last weekend. Vikas said that when Arshi abused Hina Priyank took a stand for her on the same and while leaving the house asked Hina, Vikas and others to take care of the bullshit from Arshi but, the very next moment Hina made up with Arshi.
Shilpa said that Vikas is using only lies down and gives orders, whereas Arshi said that Vikas does not know how to exert his power.
With this Salman announced that Vikas and Hina were safe. And Jyoti, Sshivani and Sapna were still in danger
The caller of the week asked Shilpa about her changing relationship with Vikas, to which she said that things changed after Vikas cried. She compared this situation to the one that happened between her and Vikas over her contract.
With all this drama and changing relationships, it will be interesting to watch who exits the house tomorrow.
