'The person who accepts challenges and overcomes limitations is Pagglait,' say Sanya Malhotra, Sayani Gupta and director Umesh Bist

Pagglait is one of the much-awaited Netflix films of the year. Now, the wait is about to end as the Umesh Bist directorial will release on March 26. Ahead of Pagglait's release, Sanya Malhotra, who plays the role of Sandhya, along with Umesh and Sayani Gupta sat down for an interview with PeepingMoon.

During the interview, Umesh revealed the reason behind the title Pagglait. Sanya spoke about living the life of Sandhya, a young widow who finds it difficult to mourn the demise of her husband, Astik. Sayani plays Astik's former girlfriend who becomes Sandhya's friend. The actress spoke about her character.

Umesh also spoke about spinning a tale around a highly sensitive topic with a dash of humour and how did the idea come to the fore. During the insightful chat, the trio also clarified whether Pagglait can be called a story of a dysfunctional family. 

Apart from Sanya and Sayani, Pagglait also stars Shrutii Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, Sheeba Chaddha, Meghna Malik and Rajesh Tailang.
