Rahul Vaidya emerged as one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss 14 and deservedly became the first runner-up of Salman Khan’s controversial show. After the grand finale, PeepingMoon.com caught up with the singer for an exclusive byte. Rahul got candid about his journey and his changing equation with Rubina Dilaik in the house.
Talking about his Bigg Boss journey and losing out on the coveted trophy, Rahul said, “Bahut interesting journey rahi hai, bahut paaya yahan se, trophy sab pana chahte hain but uses zyada important hota hai logon ka pyaar and logon ka dil jeetna. Woh jeet ke ja raha hoon uski sabse zyada khushi hai (It was a very interesting journey. I received a lot of love from the audience. Everyone wants to win the trophy but winning someone’s heart is more important and I am happy I could do that).”
Talking about the changed equation with Rubina Dilaik in the last few days of Bigg Boss 14, Rahul said, “Insaan hain na har samay ek jaise toh nahi reh sakte. Toh jab show khatam ho raha that oh hum dono ne decide kiya ki koshish karte hain ki ek dusre ko buri baatein nahi bolenge, yeh nahi ki hum dost ban gaye hain but ek dusre ko negative baatein nahi bolenge (We are humans, we can’t stay the same always. As we neared the end of the show, Rubina and I decided not to speak negative about each other).”
