Rishi Kapoor, who was 67, passed away on Thursday morning due to cancer. The last rites were performed at around 4pm in the city's Chandanwadi crematorium.
PeepingMoon got in touch with Deepti Naval, his co-star from 1984 film Yeh Ishq Nahin Aasaan. Expressing her sadness, she recalled, "Last Diwali I met him for the last time."
His wife Neetu Kapoor was by his side when he breathed his last in the morning. Rishi Kapoor is survived by wife, actress Neetu Kapoor, daughter Riddhima and son Ranbir.
